Pyrography is the art of engraving, inlaying patterns, designs, shapes, words on a support such as leather , wood and cork. Our pyrography tool has been specially designed for hot engraving on leather. It works on vegetable or mineral (chrome) tanned leather. For best results, we recommend vegetable tanned leather.
HOW TO ENGRAVE A PATTERN ON LEATHER?
You can engrave leather using the pyrography tool and a steel plate made up of different designs or by shaping your leather using a pattern printed on a tracing sheet or by drawing.
Please note that it is also possible to "engrave a pattern on leather" using the embossing technique ( we invite you to see our guide ).

HOW TO USE THE PYROGRAPHER?
We recommend practicing on scraps of leather. It is important to use the same speed across your entire pattern so that some parts are darker than others. We recommend avoiding stopping in the middle of a line to avoid any gaps or demarcations.
