Workshop - Making a leather watch strap - Intermediate

LEATHER WATCH STRAP MAKING WORKSHOP

Spend a day learning how to make a leather watch strap and take it home with you! The training is provided by a leather goods artisan.
You can choose your preferred color from our alligator range (in matte or glossy) or high-quality SATINLYS full-grain cowhide (11 colors).
Vegetable-tanned leather for the lining and MeiSi M30 thread (color of your choice) will be provided on site. Other threads or watch strap buckles will be available for purchase if you wish.

To make the strap, remember to bring your watch (dial, spring bar, and buckle).

Prerequisite for this training: knowing how to do a saddle stitch.

Level: Intermediate
Price: €120 which includes the training and materials for making your watch strap.
Materials and tools: Provided except watch accessories (dial, spring bar, and buckle).
Location: At our physical store in Campbon (44) located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.
Duration: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Training not eligible for CPF

What you will need to bring:
- Your lunch: a refrigerator and microwave will be available (as well as a dining area).
- Your watch (dial, spring bar, and buckle).

Our trainer, Anthony Hervy, is a leather goods artisan and works with passion and respect for tradition. He will be there to listen to you and answer all your questions.

- Watch strap patterning
- Cutting
- Leather skiving
- Gluing
- Watch strap stitching
- Edge dyeing

A little extra: The Deco Cuir shop is accessible during the training. A 15% discount is offered on all your in-store purchases on the day: take advantage of it to leave with all the materials you need.

Information:
- If you add the "paper catalog" (free) to your order in the cart, shipping fees will be requested. We advise you to wait until the day of the training to discover it.
- If the number of participants is insufficient, DECO CUIR reserves the right to cancel the training.
- Any withdrawal reported at least three weeks before the workshop will not result in any refund unless another trainee takes the available spot.
