1- CONDITIONS OF OUR OFFERS

WELCOME code: this code allows you to benefit from a 5% discount on a first order of an amount greater than €10 including tax (excluding shipping costs). Usage limit: the welcome discount is not valid on the Cricut, the Skimini, the Tandy beveler, the hand cutting press, the Radermecker leather range, gift cards, books, DVDs and training courses. Offer cannot be combined with other promotional codes and discounts already applied. Not valid on orders already placed. Forgetting the code will not give rise to a refund.

Non-refundable if an order is forgotten. Cannot be combined with discounts by product group.

Deco Cuir loyalty program: with each order placed on our site (be careful to be connected to your customer account) you accumulate loyalty points: 1 € spent = 1 point accumulated. Accumulation is not made on the amount of shipping costs or on the purchase of gift cards. The cumulative number of points is rounded to the nearest whole number : €10.30 = 10 points. When you reach 300 points you can unlock a €15 reduction coupon (600 points = €30 / 900 points = €45...) .

This coupon can be used only once and cannot be combined with promotional codes or group discounts. If the amount of your order is less than the amount of the coupon, the difference will not entitle you to a refund. Not valid on shipping costs. Not valid in physical store. These general conditions of sale apply between:
The company Deco Cuir SARL - ZAC PORTE ESTUAIRE - 25 rue de la Liffey - 44750 CAMPBON (France), registered in France with the RCS of Saint-Nazaire (44) under SIREN 511 612 970, hereinafter referred to as "Deco Cuir" on the one hand and all natural or legal persons making a purchase on the e-commerce site www.decocuir.com or the marketplaces hereinafter referred to as "Buyer" on the other hand.

These conditions aim to define the terms of distance selling between Deco Cuir and the Buyer, from the order, to payment and delivery. They regulate all the steps necessary for placing the order and ensure the monitoring of this order between the contracting parties. These general conditions of sale apply to any order placed on the e-commerce site www.decocuir.com or the marketplaces.

Any order implies irrevocable acceptance of the general conditions of sale. These general conditions of sale may be subject to modification, the applicable conditions are those in force on www.decocuir.com on the date the Buyer's order is placed. The Buyer declares: to have the capacity to conclude this contract, that is to say to be of legal majority and not to be under guardianship or curatorship, or to hold parental authorization allowing him to carry out an order under this contract.

2. PRODUCTS

The items visible on the e-commerce site www.decocuir.com are available while stocks last. Any complaint from the customer regarding the order or delivery of an unavailable item will be considered unfounded.

The products offered for sale are described and presented with the greatest possible precision. However, if errors or omissions may have occurred in this presentation, Deco Cuir cannot be held responsible. Photographs illustrating the products in support of the text do not fall within the contractual scope.

LEATHER

Leather is a natural material whose behavior varies from one skin to another. Despite all the care we take during the transformation phases, dimensional variations may occur.
- The dimensions of the pieces of leather are marked for information purposes only and may vary by plus or minus 5 mm.
- The widths of the leather straps are marked for information purposes only and may vary by plus or minus 2 mm.
- The thicknesses of the pieces of leather are marked for information purposes only and may vary by plus or minus 0.3 mm.

Leather is a natural material that includes imperfections such as scars, wrinkle marks, holes, etc. These defects can be positioned anywhere on the skin. Each skin is unique and it is not possible for us to describe them in detail one by one. If you wish to cut large, flawless pieces from leather skins, please contact our customer service who can help you choose the skins compatible with your project.

  • The leather skins that we sell as first choice are selected. This does not mean that they do not have defects but that they are usable at a minimum of 75% of their surface area and that there is no major defect preventing the manufacture of a part using at least 50 % of skin surface
  • The leather skins that we sell as second choice have more defects and these can be distributed over the entire skin. They can be used at a minimum of 50% of their surface area. These skins are intended for the manufacture of small parts which can be positioned around defects in order to best exploit the surface of the skin.

If a skin does not give you satisfaction but it meets the criteria indicated above, a return is possible and will result in a refund for the skin. This skin must be returned to us in perfect condition. For this we ask you to send it rolled and not folded. Shipping costs for returning the item will be the responsibility of the Buyer. No exchange will be made.

The origin of each product is detailed in its product sheet. Our leathers are tanned either in the European Union or outside the European Union. If the origin of the leather is not specified, please consider the leather as having origin outside the European Union.

Our leathers comply with European standards, namely: the absence of residues of pentachlorophenol (PCP), epichloridrin, AZO dyéstuffs, formaldehyde and chromium 6.

ACCESSORIES AND BUCKLES

Concerning regulations on nickel-plated finish metal accessories. All of our accessories are purchased in Europe. They therefore comply with European standards which do not prohibit the use of nickel in the finishing treatments of metal articles. It must therefore be considered that products marketed by Deco Cuir with a nickel or nickel-plated finish may contain nickel. In order to satisfy as many of its customers as possible, Deco Cuir has been committed for several years to gradually replacing its 'nickel-finish' items with 'nickel-free' finish items. In this case, the nickel free mention is clearly indicated in the product sheet.

Note: Accessories are finished in batches. It is possible that from one series to another the finish is slightly different depending on the surface treatment bath. Also, we cannot guarantee that the finish of all our items is perfectly identical.

3. AVAILABILITY OF PRODUCTS

99% of the products offered for sale are in stock on our premises. The Buyer is informed of the availability of products sold on all item pages. However, errors are possible at this level due to updating stocks.
If, despite its vigilance, the items are unavailable, Deco Cuir will inform the consumer of this unavailability as soon as possible by e-mail or telephone. If one of the products in an order is out of stock, Deco Cuir will ship all the other available products in the order.
Deco Cuir undertakes, within 30 days from the date of the order, either to deliver the ordered product to the Buyer, or to provide a refund.

Deco Cuir is automatically responsible towards the Buyer for the proper execution of the obligations resulting from the sale concluded remotely, whether these obligations are to be executed by Deco Cuir or by other service providers, without prejudice to its right of appeal against them. However, Deco Cuir may exempt itself from all or part of its liability by providing proof that the non-execution or poor execution of the sale is attributable either to the Buyer or to the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third party to the sale, or in a case of force majeure.

4. PRICE

The prices and shipping costs of our products are indicated in euros, all taxes included. If you are exempt from VAT* or if you live outside one of the countries of the European Union, the price will be automatically adjusted when you validate your order. The amount is payable in full and in a single payment when ordering. All orders are invoiced and payable in euros only.

Exception: error causing a defect in consent: if the displayed price differs insignificantly from the actual value of the item, the contract is void due to a manifest error in the price.

*Are you a foreign customer (your activity is not in France) and you have an intra-community VAT number? You can request to be exempt from VAT: this is not done “automatically” on our site (we must intervene on your account). To make the request, please contact customer service directly.

5. ORDER VALIDATION

Clicking on the “Validate basket” button at the end of the order process implies complete and unreserved acceptance of the order as well as of these General Conditions of Sale.
When the Buyer has validated his payment, a summary of the order will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address indicated at the time of the order. This confirmation will include all the constituent elements of the contract entered into between the parties.

In any event, Deco Cuir reserves the right to refuse any order or delivery in the event of an existing dispute with the Buyer, total or partial non-payment of a previous order by the Buyer, refusal to authorization of payment by bank card from banking and insurance organizations, non-payment or partial payment. Deco Cuir cannot be held liable in this respect under any circumstances.

6. PAYMENT

Payment is made under the conditions provided for when ordering. A contribution to delivery costs is requested and must be paid by the Buyer when ordering. The Buyer can be offered delivery in mainland France, and by pickup, for any order greater than or equal to €100 including tax. Home delivery is free from €150 including tax. All purchases are payable in cash when ordering (unless paid in installments free of charge with Klarna - from 200€ of purchases). The Deco Cuir company does not grant any discount for early payment.

The different payment methods accepted for payment of orders on the e-commerce site www.decocuir.com are:

Exception: Deco Cuir gift cards. You can pay for your order with a Deco Cuir gift card available on our site. The card, received by email, contains a unique and personalized code. The code can be used several times (until the balance runs out) . The gift card is valid for 1 year and is not applicable to shipping costs.

PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD

Cards issued by banks domiciled outside France must be international bank cards. In the event of payment by credit card, the Buyer's account will be debited on the day of the order. Payment is made on the secure banking server of our partner Mollie.

PAYMENT BY CHECK

When paying by check, the order is reserved for 5 working days. Beyond this period, without receipt of the check, the order is canceled. Payment by bank check is only possible for checks in euros drawn on a bank domiciled in France. In the event of payment by check, the check is cashed upon receipt of the check. It is only when the check is cashed that Deco Cuir will process the order. For checks for an amount over 100 euros, we wait 10 working days for confirmation of a cleared check before sending the order. The check must be made payable to: Deco Cuir, and sent to: DECO CUIR - 25 rue de la Liffey - ZAC Porte Estuaire - 44750 CAMPBON.

PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER

Deco Cuir accepts bank transfers for payment of your purchases. If you select this payment method when ordering, simply transfer the amount of your purchases to Deco Cuir's account.

PAYMENT BY PAYPAL

In the event of payment by PAYPAL, the Buyer's account will be debited on the day of the order. Payment is made on our partner's secure banking server (PAYPAL).

PAYMENT BY ADMINISTRATIVE MANDATE

In the event of payment by administrative mandate, we invite you to validate your quote in the form of an order. To do this, you must validate the basket and choose “Administrative mandate” in payment. You must then send an e-mail to boutique@decocuir.com with the quote/order number. We will then ask you for the signed order form from your administration, this must include the SIRET number, the billing address and the delivery address. Upon receipt of this we will send the order and the invoice.

PAYMENT IN SEVERAL INSTALLMENTS (3X WITHOUT FEES)

Payment by credit card. Financing for a period of 3 months, for a minimum amount of €200 and maximum of €1,500. Subject to acceptance by our partner Klarna CA located at 100 University Avenue, suite 06-166, Toronto, (Ontario) M5J 1V6 Canada (registration number 556737-0431).

  • Your order is between €200 and €1,500 (excluding shipping costs).
  • Your bank card is a Carte Bleue, a Mastercard or a VISA with a validity date greater than 4 months. Prepaid cards are not permitted.
  • You live in mainland France (Corsica included, excluding overseas territories), Switzerland or Belgium.

PAYMENT SECURITY

For any payment by credit card, the payment is secured by encryption, your bank will give you 2-factor authentication. In order to ensure the security of payments, Deco Cuir uses the secure payment service of the service provider: Mollie. This service integrates the level 1 security standard of the PCI-DSS standard.

7. DELIVERY

The products will be delivered to the delivery address indicated by the customer when ordering. If the delivery address is not provided during registration, the order will be delivered to the billing address. In the event of an error in the wording of the contact details, the seller cannot be held responsible for the impossibility in which it may be to deliver the product.

Transport costs are the responsibility of the customer and the amount is indicated on the order summary. Payment of the order in full constitutes acceptance of the shipping costs and cannot be the subject of a subsequent claim. The Buyer can be offered delivery to a collection point for any order greater than or equal to €100 including tax and to home delivery for any order greater than or equal to €150 including tax.

When receiving the order, the customer must carefully check the contents of the package and the condition of the package and make possible reservations with the carrier in the event of a missing or damaged product.

Possible delivery delays do not give the customer the right to cancel the sale, refuse the goods or claim damages.

In case of payment by a means of payment other than credit card. The order will only be processed upon receipt of the check or bank transfer. Consequently, the deadlines applicable in this case are those on the day of receipt of the check or transfer and can therefore be modified from those mentioned on the day the order is placed.

8. RETURN OR REFUND

OUR CONDITIONS

From the date of receipt of their order, the Buyer has a period of fourteen clear days to return an item. After this period, the products delivered will be deemed to be compliant and accepted by the Buyer, and Deco Cuir reserves the right to refuse reimbursement.

To return an item, the Buyer must first inform customer service:

Instructions for making your return request:

  1. Click on the following link or click on the "Request a return" button on your customer account (on one of your orders).
  2. Log in to your account, in the "email" field, enter your email address then click "Continue".
  3. Open the email received in your email box (your customer account email) and copy the six-digit verification code received.
  4. Enter the six-digit verification code on the site page.
  5. Click on the order for which you wish to request a return. Then click on the button at the top right “Request a return”.
  6. Select the item(s) you wish to return and the quantity to return.
  7. Select a reason for return. You can also add a comment if you wish.
  8. Click “Request a Return”.
  9. Customer service must validate your return before you return the items. If your return request is approved, you will receive an email with shipping instructions (maximum 48 business days after your request). Once the product is returned, you will receive a refund.

The item must be returned in similar condition to the original one. Leather hides should be rolled, not folded.

RETURN COST

Unless otherwise provided for in one of the articles of these General Conditions of Sale (error on our part, defective product, etc.) , the cost of the return is entirely payable by the Buyer.

RETURN ADDRESS

The return of one or more items must be made to the address indicated in article 20. We leave you the choice of carrier, please keep your proof of deposit until your reimbursement and do not forget to leave copy of the invoice or indicate the order number in the package.

9. REFUND

Within 14 clear days from the date of receipt of the returned item, the Buyer will receive their refund according to the payment method made, except for bank transfer, the refund must be made by check.
Only the price of the item will be refunded, the transport costs (delivery and return) remaining the responsibility of the Buyer.

10. COMPLAINTS

Any complaint for non-compliance or missing item upon delivery must be transmitted within 48 hours of receipt of the order. The complaint must be sent in writing (letter or e-mail) to the address mentioned in article 20. Deco Cuir reserves the right to refuse late complaints, not putting it in a position to intervene with the manufacturer or of an insurance company.

Any complaint must include: the customer number, the Buyer's contact details, the order number, the product references and the reasons for the complaint, a photo will be requested in the event of defective items, or receipt of a damaged package, if this evidence is not provided, we will not pursue the complaint.

11. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

For items on sale, the Buyer has 14 working days from the delivery date of their order to return any item that does not suit them and request a credit or refund without penalty. The product must be returned in good condition and in its original packaging. Return costs in the event of a withdrawal will be the responsibility of the consumer.

For items sold in batches, it is not possible to request a return for one or more items in the batch (the entire batch must be returned).
For special orders or custom manufacturing, the Buyer has no right of withdrawal. Validation of the quote constitutes firm and definitive validation. It is up to the buyer to request the necessary samples or prototypes before placing their order.

12. NON-CONFORMING PRODUCT RETURN PROCEDURE | GUARANTEES

We invite you to contact us by email to identify the problem. Products damaged, incomplete or damaged through the fault of the customer will not give rise to any refund.
After validation of the non-conformity of the product by our quality department, we undertake to replace or reimburse the product as quickly as possible.

13. TAXES, ROYALTIES AND CUSTOMS DUTIES FOR DELIVERY OUTSIDE FRANCE

Any order placed on the site www.decocuir.com and delivered outside France may be subject to additional taxes or fees and customs duties which are imposed when the package reaches its destination. These customs duties and possible taxes linked to the delivery of an item are the responsibility of the Buyer and are the responsibility of the Buyer. Deco Cuir is not required to check and inform the Buyer of applicable customs duties and taxes. To find out about them, the Buyer must contact the competent authorities in his country.

14. RESPONSIBILITY

Deco Cuir cannot be held responsible for material, immaterial or bodily damage caused by the products it markets, and which could result from the non-adaptation of the product to its use or from the misuse of the products marketed.

15. FORCE MAJEURE

Deco Cuir disclaims its liability for any failure to fulfill its contractual obligations in the event of force majeure or fortuitous circumstances, including, but not limited to, catastrophes, fires, internal or external strikes, internal or external failures or breakdowns, floods and fires, and in general any event that does not allow the proper execution of orders.

17. CUSTOMER REVIEWS – OPERATION

All customer reviews on the site are automatically managed by Verified Reviews. 10 days after the package leaves our warehouse, an evaluation request comprising 2 parts:

  • a general opinion on the site, asking for a rating of 1 to 5 stars on delivery, another on the merchandise and a last one on customer service. From these 3 ratings an overall rating on our site is calculated.
  • a rating of 1 to 5 stars on 3 items selected randomly from the items that make up the order.

All comments received are automatically published by the system no later than 72 hours after their receipt. Deco Cuir cannot influence customer reviews: they are all authentic and published automatically.

18. TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP – TRANSFER OF RISK

The transfer of ownership of the products to the benefit of the purchaser will only be carried out after full payment of the price by the latter, regardless of the date of delivery of said products. However, the transfer of risks of loss and deterioration of the products will be carried out upon delivery and receipt of said products by the purchaser.

19. APPLICABLE LAW

All clauses appearing in these general conditions of sale, as well as all purchase and sale operations referred to therein, will be subject to French law, the courts will be those within the jurisdiction of Saint-Nazaire (44), courts of head office of DECO CUIR SARL where the contract between the parties is formed.
