High-precision leather stamps by Sergey Neskromniy
Discover our selection of leather stamps from the LeatherStampsTools range, manufactured in Bulgaria by Sergey Neskromniy since 2013. Passionate about leatherwork and recognized worldwide, he designs high-end stamps with unique designs and remarkably fine details.
These Leather stamps consist of a brass stamp and a sturdy stainless steel handle.
The fundamental difference between Sergey Neskromniy's leather stamps lies in their innovative manufacturing process. Unlike most manufacturers who prefer molding, Sergey Neskromniy uses CNC machining. This technology allows for exceptionally sharp patterns, ensuring perfect leather stamping down to the smallest detail.
Stamping stamps are leather marking tools that allow you to carve patterns, textures, and embossed designs. The wealth of available designs (geometric patterns, animals, skulls, borders, etc.) offers unlimited creative freedom to personalize and decorate all your DIY leather projects: belts, wallets, bracelets, handbags, etc.
How to use these leather stamps?
We recommend using a marble slab as a striking support to absorb vibrations and thus give excellent inertia to your mallet blows.
Strike the stamps with a wooden or polymer mallet or maul (do not use a steel hammer).
✅ On natural vegetable tanned leather 2.5 mm thick or more (recommended use) :
The leather must be moistened before embossing. To help the water soak into the leather and make it easier for your stamps to glide, you can use a leather embossing conditioner (such as Easy-Carve or Pro-Carv ).
✅ On chrome (mineral) tanned leather:
Heat the brass part of the stamp before marking so that it properly imprints the surface of the leather.
Caution: Handle the handle with protective gloves to avoid any risk of burns.
After marking, you can enhance your creations by applying a dye, paint or patina to finalize your embossing and reveal the reliefs.
To keep your stamps in perfect condition, remember to store them in a suitable holder : any fall could irreparably damage the stamp and compromise the quality of your future markings.
