This leather stamp allows for quick reproduction of the same pattern to create a basketweave that will add texture to your leather creation.
"Basketweave" type stamps transform large smooth surfaces into textured ones, while also camouflaging any leather imperfections. The relief formed by material compression also strengthens the leather and makes it more resistant to scratches.

This striking stamp is composed of a brass die and a stainless steel handle, combining strength and durability. Whether you are a professional or an amateur passionate about leatherwork, this tool is perfect for your leather carving projects.

Instructions for use:
- Use natural vegetable-tanned leather of at least 2.5 mm thickness.
- Dampen the leather before stamping. To facilitate your carving work, you can use a leather preparer such as Easy-Carve or Pro-Carv.
- Use a granite slab as a striking surface to avoid rebound and achieve a clean, deep impression on the leather.
- Use a sufficiently heavy nylon, polymer leather, or wooden mallet or maul (do not use a steel hammer).
- It is possible to use these stamps on chrome-tanned leather by heating the brass die. Handle the handle with protective gloves to avoid any risk of burns.
