SERGEY NESKROMNIY PROFESSIONAL LEATHER STAMP NO. 424 - IÜRGEN VOLBACH
Enhance your DIY leather creations with high-quality stamps designed by Sergey Neskromniy, world-renowned for the finesse and originality of his designs. Manufactured in Bulgaria since 2013, these leather stamps are machined with a CNC machine tool, ensuring a clean impression on leather, down to the smallest detail.
This leather matting stamp is the result of a collaboration between Sergey Neskromniy and Jürgen Volbach, famous German leather artist and craftsman.
This stamp is ideal for creating a background texture, around the periphery of the design to highlight it and fill the space around it. The depth effect created will allow the reliefs of your leather creation to stand out.
This striking stamp is composed of a brass die and a stainless steel handle, combining strength and durability. Whether you are a professional or an enthusiastic amateur of leathercraft, this tool is perfect for your leather carving work.
Dimensions :
- Design size: 8 x 10 mm
- Handle diameter: 7 mm
- Tool length: 100 mm
Usage tips :
- Use natural vegetable-tanned leather of at least 2.5 mm thickness.
- Dampen the leather before stamping. To facilitate your carving work, you can use a leather conditioner such as Easy-Carve or Pro-Carv.
- Use a marble slab as a striking surface to avoid bounces and achieve a clean and deep impression on the leather.
- Use a mallet or maul made of nylon, leather polymer or wood that is heavy enough (do not use a steel hammer).
- It is possible to use these stamps on mineral-tanned leather by heating the brass die. Handle the handle with protective gloves to avoid any risk of burns.
