HAND LEATHER SEWING TRAINING
For a day, come and learn or improve your saddle stitching skills.
Date of your choice
Levels: beginner and intermediate. The trainer will adapt to each level.
Materials and tools: provided. If you wish, you can bring your own equipment to get used to using it.
Location: in our physical store in Campbon (44), located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.
Duration: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Training not eligible for CPF.
Lunch: Lunch is not included. We invite you to bring your own meal. A refrigerator, a microwave, and a dining area will be at your disposal.
Our trainer, Anthony Hervy, is a leather goods artisan and works with passion and respect for traditions. He will be attentive to your needs and can answer all your questions.
Program:
- Saddle stitch sewing with linen thread: learning to wax the thread with beeswax.
- Edge-to-edge leather bonding with water-based contact adhesive.
- Leather grooving.
- Start and stop stitching: double and backstitch.
- Corner stitch: how to get a stitch that perfectly lands in the corner of a piece of leather?
- Curved / rounded sewing.
- Double grooving sewing: grooving both sides of the piece.

Information:
- If you add the "paper catalog" (free) to your order in the cart, shipping costs will be charged. We advise you to wait until the day of the training to discover it.
- If the number of participants is insufficient, DECO CUIR reserves the right to cancel the training.
- Any withdrawal reported at the latest three weeks before the course will not result in any refund unless another trainee takes the available place.
