HAND LEATHER SEWING TRAINING

For one day, come learn or improve your saddle stitch sewing skills.

Date of your choice
Levels: beginner and intermediate. The trainer will adapt to each level.
Materials and tools: provided. If you wish, you can bring your own equipment to get used to using it.
Location: in the premises of our physical store in Campbon (44) located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.
Duration: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Training not eligible for CPF.

Lunch: Lunch is not included. We invite you to bring your own lunch. A refrigerator, a microwave and a catering area will be at your disposal.

Our trainer, Anthony Hervy, is a leatherworker who works with passion and respect for tradition. He will be available to listen to your needs and answer all your questions.

Program :

• Saddle stitch sewing with linen thread: learn how to wax the thread with beeswax.
• Bonding the leather edge to edge with water-based contact glue.
• Leather scratching.
• Starting and stopping sewing: double and saddle stitch.
• Corner stitch: how to get a stitch that falls perfectly into the corner of a piece of leather?
• Curved/rounded seam.
• Double-stitched seam: stitched on both sides of the piece.

Our store remains accessible during training until 6:30 p.m.

Note : If you add the free "paper catalog" to your cart, you will be charged shipping fees. We recommend waiting until the day of the training to find out.

If the number of participants is insufficient, DECO CUIR reserves the right to cancel the training. Any cancellation notified no later than three weeks before the course will not result in a refund unless another trainee takes the available place.
