Leather training for beginners : Discover the basic techniques of leatherworking.
For one day, come and learn the basics of working with leather and different techniques: embossing, saddle stitching, dyeing, etc.

Place : in the premises of our physical store in Campbon (44) located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.
Duration: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Training not eligible for CPF.
Lunch: Lunch is not included. We invite you to bring your own lunch. A refrigerator, a microwave and a catering area will be at your disposal.
Our trainer, Anthony Hervy, is a leather craftsman and works with passion and respect for tradition. He will listen to you and be able to answer all your questions .
Program :
- Presentation of the different types of leather and their uses
- Presentation of the main tools and demonstration (sharpening concepts)
- Saddle stitch sewing
- Presentation of hammering and embossing techniques
- Making a plate in embossed leather (using the opening knife)
- Presentation of the different dyes and edge finishes. If you have a little time left, you can dye your creation.
Our store remains accessible during training until 6:30 p.m.
Note : If you add the free "paper catalog" to your cart, you will be charged shipping fees. We recommend waiting until the day of the training to find out.
If the number of participants is insufficient, DECO CUIR reserves the right to cancel the training.
Any cancellation notified at least three weeks before the course will not give rise to any reimbursement unless another trainee takes the place left available.
