Leather training for beginners : Discovery of basic leather working techniques.

For a day, come and learn the basic notions of working with leather and different techniques: embossing, saddle stitch sewing, dyeing...

Place : in the premises of our physical store in Campbon (44) located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.
Duration: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Training not eligible for the CPF.

The 120€ includes registration for the training day and lunch.

Our trainer, Anthony Hervy, is a leather craftsman and works with passion and respect for traditions. He will listen to you and can answer all your questions .

Program :

• Presentation of the different types of leather and their uses
• Presentation of the main tools and demonstration (sharpening concepts)
  
• Saddle stitch sewing
• Overview of hammering and spinning techniques
  
• Making a embossed leather plate (use of the opening knife)
• Presentation of the different dyes and edge finishes. If there is a little time left you can tint your creation.

If the number of participants is insufficient, DECO CUIR reserves the right to cancel the training.
Any withdrawal reported at the latest three weeks before the course will not give rise to any refund unless another trainee takes up the place left available.
