Second-choice leathers are hides/pieces that may have marked creases, small imperfections, wrinkles, scars, scratches, small holes, or stains. Generally, these leathers benefit from a 15% discount compared to a first-choice leather. Leather is a noble and living material, so it is perfectly normal to have some imperfections (which also adds to its charm).

Leather is a natural material that naturally presents certain characteristics, such as scars, crease marks, wrinkles, holes, or other imperfections. These characteristics can appear in different places on the hide and are part of its authenticity.
How do we select leather?
Each hide is unique, so it is not possible for us to list or precisely describe all of these characteristics for each item. If your project requires cutting large pieces with few or no apparent defects, we invite you to contact our customer service.
Our team can advise you and guide you towards the hides best suited to your needs. The first-choice leather hides we sell undergo rigorous selection. This classification does not mean the total absence of defects, but guarantees a minimum usable surface of 75% as well as the absence of major defects likely to compromise the creation of a piece occupying at least 50% of the hide's total surface.
