This leather is classified as 2nd choice: it therefore has marked irregularities and defects such as creases, holes, varying grain, or other visible flaws... Easily workable, this deer leather remains perfectly usable for making gloves, sheaths, clothing, small leather goods, crafts, etc.

As leather is a natural material, each skin bears the animal's history: scars, wrinkles, holes... 2nd choice leathers are offered with a 15% discount compared to 1st choice leather because they contain more imperfections randomly distributed over the skin. They remain at least 50% usable over their surface and will be perfect for making small pieces by working around damaged areas to make the most of the skin's surface.
