This grained black deerskin leather is very soft, manageable, and versatile. Thin and incomparably supple, this full-grain leather combines both softness and resistance. This leather is classified as second choice: it therefore presents irregularities and marked defects such as creases, holes, a different grain, or other visible flaws... Easy to work with, this deerskin remains entirely usable for making gloves, sheaths, clothing, small leather goods, crafts...

As leather is a natural material, each hide tells the story of the animal: scars, wrinkles, holes... Second choice leathers are offered at a 15% discount compared to first choice leathers because they contain more imperfections randomly distributed over the hide. They remain usable for at least 50% of their surface and will be perfectly suitable for making small pieces by working around damaged areas to make the best use of the hide's surface.
