This grained brown deer leather hide is a very soft, pliable, thin, and versatile leather. This leather is classified as 2nd choice, meaning it has irregularities and significant defects such as creases, holes, varying grain, or other visible flaws. Combining softness and resistance, this full-grain leather is still perfectly usable for making gloves, sheaths, clothing, small leather goods, and crafts.

As leather is a natural material, each hide tells the animal's story: scars, wrinkles, holes, etc. 2nd choice leathers are offered at a 15% discount compared to 1st choice leathers because they have more imperfections randomly distributed over the hide. They remain at least 50% usable and will be perfect for making small items by avoiding damaged areas to best utilize the hide's surface.
