Description

TOOL FOR REMOVING SNAP BUTTONS AND RIVETS

You've spent hours creating the perfect piece, but a single misplaced snap or rivet can ruin everything. Don't let these mistakes ruin your leather creations! This anvil is specially designed to easily remove rivets and snaps without damaging the leather. It's also great for removing a snap from jeans.

This steel anvil is used with a handle to remove snap fasteners and rivets (sold separately - ref. TA951 ).

This tool allows you to remove:
- Single and double cap rivets
- The male and female parts of the strong snap fasteners (ring spring)
- The female parts of the S-shaped snap fasteners (to remove the male part, you must use cutting pliers)

Choose the anvil size that matches the size of the accessory you want to remove. The hole should be able to fully accommodate the accessory, but it should not be too large to avoid stretching the leather when striking.

4 sizes are available:

Hole diameter
Recommended diameter of accessories to be removed Deco Leather Rivet Match
7.5 mm 5 to 7 mm T2 / T3
9.8 mm 7.5 to 9.5 mm T3 / T4
13 mm 10 to 12.5 mm T6
15.5 mm 13 to 15 mm T7

Anvil outer diameter: 36 mm
The thickness of the anvil is 15 mm to prevent the striking handle from touching the work surface and deforming.
