Additional information :
- When using small-diameter punches (less than 4 mm), depending on the type of leather used (density, thickness, etc.), the cut leather may tend to get stuck in the tool's discharge channel. To prevent it from becoming completely blocked, we recommend regularly removing the cut pieces using a small metal rod (blunt-tipped needle, round awl, etc.).
- You can also make cutting easier by putting a little beeswax on the cutting edge of the cookie cutter before each use.
Caution : Hole punch bits have a limited lifespan. With repeated use, they will lose their sharpness. You will then have to apply more and more force to make the cut, and they may break.
To increase their lifespan, we recommend placing a sacrificial piece between the tip and the brass apex.
