Leather embossing training
Level 2: Improvement
For a day, come and perfect your leather work with the embossing technique. To access this training, it is recommended to have followed the level 1 “beginner” training.

Location: in the premises of our physical store in Campbon (44) located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.
Duration: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Training not eligible for the CPF.
The 120€ includes registration for the training day and lunch.
Our trainer, Anthony Hervy, is a leather craftsman and works with passion and respect for traditions. He will listen to you and can answer all your questions .
Program :

Carrying out a simple push-back with basic techniques.
Assessment of your entry level in training by creating a simple pattern of your choice (approximately 1 hour)
- Transfer of the drawing
- Swivel cutting
- Trimming with Bevelers
- Shading work
- Highlighting
- Working on the background with the “Backgrounder” stamps

Learning push-back techniques (approximately 3 hours)
- Accuracy of the use of the different tools taking into account observations during the evaluation phase
- Learning the Basketwave technique
- Learning the Basketwave technique without a mat
- Learning the dye blocker technique (pore filler)

Creating an empty pocket with the techniques studied previously (approximately 3 hours)
- Application of techniques
- Coloring with dye or patina
- Application of a protective finish
- Use of tokonole to wax the crust of the leather
Our store remains accessible during training.
Note : If you add the “paper catalog” (free) to your order in the basket, you will be asked for shipping costs. We advise you to wait until the day of the training to find out.
If the number of participants is insufficient, DECO CUIR reserves the right to cancel the training.
Any withdrawal reported at the latest three weeks before the course will not give rise to any refund unless another trainee takes up the place left available.
