Leather embossing training
Level 2: Advanced
For one day, come perfect your leatherwork with the embossing technique. To access this training, it is recommended to have completed the Level 1 "Beginner" course.

Location: in the premises of our physical store in Campbon (44) located between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire in Loire-Atlantique.
Duration: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Training not eligible for CPF.
Lunch: Lunch is not included. We invite you to bring your own lunch. A refrigerator, a microwave and a catering area will be at your disposal.
Our trainer, Anthony Hervy, is a leather craftsman and works with passion and respect for tradition. He will listen to you and be able to answer all your questions .
Program :

Performing a simple embossing using basic techniques.
Assessment of your entry level in training by creating a simple design of your choice (approximately 1 hour)
- Transfer of the drawing
- Swivel cutting
- Clipping with Bevelers
- Shading work
- Highlighting
- Working on the background with the "Backgrounder" stamps

Learning embossing techniques (approximately 3 hours)
- Accuracy of the use of the different tools taking into account observations during the evaluation phase
- Learning the Basketwave technique
- Learning the Basketwave technique without a mat
- Learning the dye blocker technique (pore blocker)

Creation of a pocket emptier using the techniques studied previously (approximately 3 hours)
- Implementation of techniques
- Coloring with dye or patina
- Application of a protective finish
- Using Tokonole to wax the leather crust
Our store remains accessible during training until 6:30 p.m.
Note : If you add the free "paper catalog" to your cart, you will be charged shipping fees. We recommend waiting until the day of the training to find out.
If the number of participants is insufficient, DECO CUIR reserves the right to cancel the training.
Any cancellation notified at least three weeks before the course will not give rise to any reimbursement unless another trainee takes the place left available.
