This CRAFTOOL PRO opening knife is THE professional knife. This is an exceptional, high quality tool that is made from stainless steel!
The opening knife, also called a swivel or swivel knife, allows you to incise the leather before the stitching work. Its thick handle (14.2 mm), pivoting, mounted on ball bearings and its ergonomic handle will ensure excellent support. The handle is height adjustable (just unscrew the screws with the tool provided).

The blade is designed for regular use and will allow you to make precision cuts. It is easily changed by removing the screw using the tool provided (awl key).
Contains a protective cap for the blade The index finger is positioned on the stirrup, the thumb and middle finger on each side of the handle as if holding a pencil. With the index finger, you control the depth of the cut while the other fingers are used to rotate to make the shapes you want.
Thanks to the position of the fingers and the pivoting handle, you can easily draw circles, angles and curved lines. The finger support is molded and ergonomic for greater comfort.
