ADJUSTABLE SHAPE FOR MARKING LEATHER
This scribe allows you to mark a very straight line parallel to the edge of the leather, either to make a decoration, or to make a line which serves as a guide to mark the location of the sewing holes.
The blade and ferrule are made of stainless steel.
The former is adjusted with the screw to create a line up to 13mm from the edge of the leather.
This tool only works on vegetable tanned leather. On mineral tanned leather, the marking will be less clear and will fade over time.
