Description

CONTACT CEMENT TANNER'S BOND

The "contact cement" or contact cement is the best general-purpose adhesive : it is a neoprene glue.
It will help you in your leatherwork .
This glue is flexible so that the leather does not become stiff and brittle. It is waterproof and easy to apply. Practical side: there is a brush in the cap.

Uses :
- Specially designed for bonding leather.
- Quick grip for joining most materials together: wood, leather, metal, glass, rubber...
Good resistance to tearing, humidity and remains flexible after drying.

Neoprene glue is a solvent-based glue that sets fairly quickly. If you leave the pot open too long or forget to close it, the solvent escapes and the glue thickens.
It is possible to restore fluidity to the glue by adding neoprene glue thinner and mixing well.

How to use :
- Shake before use.
- Apply a thin layer of glue, using a brush, on each side to be glued.
- Leave to dry (5 minutes minimum).
- Then firmly bring the two pieces together.
Stickiness increases over time
