The edge protector is a tool used to break the edge of the leather in order to make the edges clean and more rounded.
The Pro OKA edge protector allows you to create a rounded bevel. The handle is made of wood with a steel ring.
This tool is very easy to use thanks to its inclined steel blade which glides over the leather.
It is sold with 1 steel rod and 2 abrasive sheets to maintain the sharpness of your edge rest. Position the 800 grit sanding sheet on the rod, then pull the edge protector towards you. Repeat this operation with the 1200 grit sanding sheet.
