VEGETABLE TANNED BUTT LEATHER
Vegetable tanned butt leather, ideal for your leather goods creations, belts, saddlery, satchels, knife sheaths or others…This nourished, semi-aniline leather has through tanning. Its antique finish has the particularity of highlighting the leather's own characteristics and emphasizing the authenticity of the material. Over time, it will develop a patina and become even more beautiful. It has a matte finish that gives a uniform color with some nuances due to the vegetable tanning. This leather is well-nourished and has good flexibility, making it easy to shape. It has a slightly greasy feel.

This is a finished leather, meaning you cannot do tooling on it, but hot stamping works very well.
Remember to maintain this leather by cleaning it occasionally with glycerine soap, then applying a nourishing layer: wax, grease, oil, cream, or milk.
