Vegetable tanned rump leather, ideal for your creations of leather goods, belts, saddlery, satchels, knife cases or other…This nourished, semi-aniline leather has a through-tanning. Its antique finish has the particularity of bringing out the characteristics specific to the leather and highlights the authenticity of the material. Over time, it will patina and become even more beautiful. It has a matte finish which gives a uniform color with some color nuances due to vegetable tanning. This leather is well nourished, it has good flexibility which allows it to be easily shaped. It has a slightly oily feel .

For a surface area less than 0.80 m², you will be delivered half a rump .
For an area greater than 0.80m², you will be delivered a croupon .
On the flesh side, this leather is resinated which gives it a beautiful finish.
This is finished leather, meaning you won't be able to emboss it but hot stamping works very well.
Remember to maintain this leather by cleaning it from time to time with glycerin soap then applying a nourishing layer: wax, grease, oil, cream or milk.
