Description

BLACK SHOULDER LEATHER

This is the favorite leather for leather lovers! Its feel makes it a very pleasant leather to work with.
This exceptional leather will allow you to create unique pieces!
Sauvage shoulder leather is a full-grain, through-dyed vegetable-tanned leather with an "old-fashioned" finish that has the particularity of highlighting the leather's own characteristics (veining, neck wrinkles, and imperfections inherent to the animal's life such as small scars, insect bites...), but these imperfections (in very small number) quickly give way to the authenticity of the leather. Over time, this leather will develop a patina and become even more beautiful.
Thanks to an aniline finish, it retains all the authenticity and depth of its shade, which will develop a patina over time.
This leather is distinguished by its natural striped effect, the neck wrinkles, which brings a touch of character and authenticity to your creations.

Deco Cuir Info:
- Flawless leather does not exist. Vegetable-tanned leather is a quality leather that does not hide the animal's life marks and develops a patina over time. With this type of leather, you need to judiciously place the patterns of your creations before cutting.
- This is a finished leather, which means you cannot do tooling on it, but hot stamping works very well.
- On this leather, the flesh side is left raw, meaning it has not undergone any finish. Halos or color variations may be visible. You can dye it if you wish or add a lining according to your preferences.

SAUVAGE LEATHER CARE TIPS
Remember to regularly care for the leather; to do this, use a clean cloth or a chamois cloth and apply a cream or nourishing milk. Do not hesitate to consult our leather care guide.
