CHESTNUT BUTT LEATHER
This is the favorite leather of leather lovers! Its touch makes it a very pleasant leather to work with.
This exceptional leather will allow you to create unique creations!
Sauvage butt leather is a full-grain, through vegetable-tanned leather, with an "old-fashioned" finish that brings out the leather's own characteristics (veining, neck wrinkles, and imperfections inherent to the animal's life such as small scars, insect bites...), but these imperfections (in very small numbers) quickly give way to the authenticity of the leather. Over time, this leather will develop a patina and become even more beautiful.
Thanks to an aniline finish, it retains all the authenticity and depth of its shade, which will develop a patina over time.
This leather is distinguished by its natural striated effect, the neck wrinkles, which add a touch of character and authenticity to your creations.

Deco Cuir Info:
- Leather without flaws does not exist. Vegetable-tanned leather is a quality leather that does not hide the animal's traces of life and develops a patina over time. With this type of leather, you must judiciously place the templates of your creations before cutting.
- This is a finished leather, which means you cannot do tooling on it, but hot stamping works very well.
- On this leather, the flesh side is kept raw, meaning it has not undergone any finishing. Halos or color variations may be visible. You can dye it if you wish or add a lining according to your preferences.
