COGNAC BUTT LEATHER - SAUVAGE
This is leather lovers' favorite! Its feel makes it a very pleasant leather to work with. This exceptional leather will allow you to create pieces with a unique character! It is ideal for making leather goods (bags, pouches...), luggage, accessories...
Sauvage butt leather is a full-grain, through-dyed vegetable-tanned leather with an "antique" finish, which has the particularity of highlighting the leather's own characteristics (veining, neck wrinkles, and defects specific to the animal's life such as small scars, insect bites...), but these imperfections (in very small number) quickly give way to the authenticity of the leather. Over time, this leather will develop a patina and become even more beautiful. Thanks to an aniline finish, it retains all the authenticity and depth of its hue, which will develop a patina over time.

Deco Cuir Info:
- Flawless leather does not exist. Vegetable-tanned leather is quality leather that does not hide the animal's life marks and develops a patina over time. With this type of leather, you need to judiciously place your patterns before cutting.
- This is a finished leather, meaning you cannot do tooling on it, but hot stamping works very well.
- On this leather, the flesh side is kept in its raw state, meaning it has not undergone any finishing. Halos or color variations may be visible. You can dye it if you wish or add a lining according to your preferences.
