Angelus leather paint is THE go-to for all "customizers" of products like sneakers. This paint can also be used on leather goods (belts, wallets...), saddlery, furniture, or automotive items.

Tips:
- Thoroughly mix the paint to homogenize it before use.
- Glitterlites paint is not opaque. For a uniform result, we recommend applying a base coat of Angelus basic acrylic leather paint (the closest shade to the glitter color).

The steps for painting your leather with Glitterlites paint are the same as for basic Angelus paint (we recommend watching the videos).

Recommended use for shoes:
- It is very important to prepare your shoe before painting to achieve optimal results. Clean it thoroughly, even if it is new. You can use Angelus preparer and deglazer (ref. WA056).
Do not use the preparer on surfaces other than leather (plastic soles, rubber edges...)
For very smooth leather such as patent leather, you can very lightly sand the surface with very fine sandpaper to ensure good paint adhesion.
- When painting, be sure to apply very thin coats to prevent cracking upon drying. Apply the paint with a brush. Allow the Angelus paint to dry thoroughly between coats. Never dry the paint with a hairdryer, as it may crack.
- Apply Glitterlites paint in thin coats with a brush, using up and down strokes. We recommend applying 2 coats (allow the paint to dry thoroughly between coats so that the glitter adheres well).
- After applying Glitterlites paint, it is not recommended to apply a finish to maintain the glitter's sparkle.

Brushes can be cleaned with soapy water or a brush cleaner (Ref. WA075).
