ANGELUS GLITTERLITES LEATHER PAINT - RUBY RED

Angelus leather paint is THE reference for all "customizers" of products such as sneakers. This paint can also be used on leather goods (belts, wallets...), saddlery, upholstery, or automotive items.

Tips:
- Thoroughly mix the paint to homogenize it before use.
- Glitterlites paint is not opaque. For a uniform result, we recommend applying a base coat of basic Angelus acrylic leather paint (the closest to the glitter color).

The steps for painting your leather with Glitterlites paint are the same as for basic Angelus paint (we recommend watching the videos).

Recommendations for use on shoes:
- It is very important to prepare your shoe before applying the paint to achieve an optimal result. Clean it thoroughly, even if it is new. You can use the Angelus preparer and deglazer before painting (ref. WA056).
Do not use the preparer on any surface other than leather (plastic soles, rubber edges...)
For very smooth leather, such as patent leather, you can very lightly sand the surface with very fine sandpaper to ensure good paint adhesion.
- When painting, be sure to apply very thin coats to prevent cracking during drying. The paint is applied with a brush. Allow the Angelus paint to dry thoroughly between coats. Never dry the paint with a hairdryer, as it may crack.
- Apply Glitterlites paint in thin coats with a brush, using up-and-down strokes. We recommend applying 2 coats (allow the paint to dry thoroughly between coats so that the glitter adheres well).
- After applying Glitterlites paint, it is not recommended to apply a finish in order to retain the glitter's shimmering effect.

Brushes can be cleaned with soapy water or with a brush cleaner (Ref. WA075).
