ACRYLIC LEATHER PAINTS

Angelus leather paint is THE go-to for all product "customizers" like sneakers. This paint can also be used on leather goods (belts, wallets), saddlery, upholstery, or automotive items.
These paints are also used to recolor leather if the original color has worn off.

High-quality acrylic paint, standard range.
Highly pigmented for extended durability.
Flexible and durable paint.
Crack-resistant.
Colors are intermixable.
Depending on arrival, the cap may include a brush applicator. There is no protective seal.

Deco Cuir Info :
Angelus paints are quality paints with a high pigment content. It is important to thoroughly mix the paint by vigorously shaking the bottle before use. Some colors are difficult to mix, and small lumps may appear upon application. Simply smooth them out with the brush to make them disappear. This is normal and does not constitute a quality defect.

Usage recommendations for shoes :
- It is very important to prepare your shoe before painting to achieve an optimal result. Clean it thoroughly, even if it is new. You can use Angelus preparer and cleaner before painting (ref. WA056).
Do not use the preparer on surfaces other than leather (plastic soles, rubber edges...)
For very smooth leather, such as patent leather, you can lightly sand the surface with very fine sandpaper to ensure the paint adheres well.
- When painting, be sure to apply very thin coats to prevent cracking upon drying. Apply the paint with a brush. Allow the Angelus paint to dry completely between coats. Never dry the paint with a hairdryer, as it may crack.
- If you want to lighten a color, you can use neutral paint (ref. WZ720_004).
- Fix and protect your paint with a standard acrylic finish or a reinforced 4-coat finish. We recommend applying 2 or 3 coats. This will significantly reduce wear and scratches on your leather.

Brushes clean with soapy water or a brush cleaner (Ref. WA075).
It is possible to use the paint on another surface by mixing it with a special additive: fabric (2-soft), plastic (2-hard).
