LEATHER BAG DIY KIT

Make your own natural vegetable tanned leather pouch with this "do it yourself" DIY Kit. Tutorial and pattern included. Accessible to beginners because the assembly of the leather handbag is seamless.

Color: Natural vegetable tanning / beige
Please note that vegetable tanned leather is delivered undyed, it will need to be tinted with olive oil or leather dye. Everything is explained in the kit.

List of kit items:
- 1 Pattern scale 1
- 1 steel turnstile clasp 30x16 mm
- 1 collar strap, vegetable tanned - Length 120 cm
- 4 chicago screws in brass - 9 mm in diameter
- 1 round knocking punch - 3 mm in diameter
- 1 jar of gum tragacanth for edge finishing - 60 ml
- 1 silver pencil (to trace the template on the leather)
- 1 piece of CLASSIC natural vegetable-tanned collar leather: 30x40 cm - thickness 1.6 mm

Tools needed (not included):
- 1 cutter and 1 pair of scissors
- 1 ruler
- 1 brush and olive oil
- 1 mallet and a striking support
- 1 screwdriver
- 1 adhesive tape

Length: 18.5cm
Width: 4.5cm
Height: 14cm

Deco Leather advice: if you have an edge trimmer, you can bevel the edges (make the edges more rounded). You can also add a dot of glue to your chicago screws before tightening to be sure that they will not unscrew over time and with use.
