DIY - LEATHER POUCH

Make your own dark brown vegetable-tanned leather pouch with this DIY "do it yourself" kit. Tutorial and pattern included. Accessible to beginners as the leather handbag assembly requires no stitching.

Kit components list:
- 1 Full-size pattern
- 1 Steel turn lock clasp 30x16 mm
- 1 Grained vegetable-tanned butt strip - Dark brown I78 - 120 cm
- 4 Brass chicago screws - 9 mm diameter
- 1 Round punch - 3 mm diameter
- 1 Silver pen (for tracing the template on the leather)
- 1 Piece of grained vegetable-tanned butt - Dark brown I78 - 30x40 cm - 1.4mm

Necessary tools (not supplied):
- 1 Cutter and 1 pair of scissors
- 1 Ruler
- 1 Mallet and a striking plate
- 1 Screwdriver
- 1 Adhesive tape

Final pouch dimensions:
Length: 18.5 cm
Width: 4.5 cm
Height: 14 cm

Deco Cuir Tip: You can work the edges with tragacanth gum. You can also add a drop of glue to your chicago screws before tightening to ensure they won't unscrew over time and use.
