SHEEPSKIN LEATHER FANNY PACK SEWING KIT

Get started on sewing your own crocodile-effect sheepskin leather fanny pack. Its beautiful, timeless color will perfectly complement all your outfits. Kit contents:
- 1 full-size pattern and tutorial (B1 poster)
- 1 sheepskin leather hide, crocodile imitation, cognac color - Surface area 0.75 m2 - Thickness 1 mm (surface adapted to the project)
Please note: it is sometimes not possible to cut the 92 cm strap from the hide. In this case, do not hesitate to shorten it by 10 cm and lengthen the small strap by 10 cm.
- 2 brass varnished T4 double cap rivets
- 1 sliding buckle, brass 25 x 16 mm
- 1 clip fastener, brass 25 mm wide
- 1 beige brass zipper 4 mm - Length 15 cm
- 1 beige brass zipper 6 mm - Length 30 cm
All delivered in a pretty reusable cotton tote bag

Necessary equipment (not supplied):
- Lining fabric 120 x 40 cm wide (not sold on our site, to be found in haberdashery)
- 1 spool of polyester thread n°30 (diameter 0.41 mm)
- 1 round punch Ø 3 mm
- Double-sided tape 4 mm or 6 mm wide
- Tear-resistant tape 15 mm wide
- 1 leather glue
- 1 cutter or 1 pair of scissors
- 1 skiving knife or blade
- Optional: for a perfect edge finish, you can apply an edge finish

Level: Intermediate. This DIY kit is intended for people who already have some sewing experience and know how to skive leather.

For an optimal result, make sure to position your pattern correctly on the hide before cutting. Placement is very important to respect the scale pattern and ensure a harmonious result on your fanny pack.

This bag is sewn with a sewing machine. It can be sewn with a domestic sewing machine with a walking foot, equipped with a special leather needle and a Teflon foot. Do not hesitate to consult our guide on sewing leather with a machine.

SHEEPSKIN LEATHER CARE TIPS

To preserve the appearance of the leather, we recommend cleaning it regularly with glycerine soap, then applying a nourishing cream or milk. Do not hesitate to consult our leather care guide.
