CAMEL SUEDE LEATHER FANNY PACK SEWING KIT

With this DIY kit, learn how to create your own suede leather bag. Its camel color will match all your outfits, from casual to the most sophisticated. Kit contents:
- 1 full-size pattern and tutorial (B1 poster)
- 1 camel suede calfskin leather hide, soft from the DOLCE range - Thickness 1.3 mm (surface suitable for the project)
- 2 varnished brass T4 double cap rivets
- 1 brass sliding buckle 25 x 16 mm
- 1 brass clip fastener width 25 mm
- 1 beige brass zipper 4 mm - Length 15 cm
- 1 beige brass zipper 6 mm - Length 30 cm
All delivered in a lovely reusable cotton tote bag.

Required materials (not supplied):
- Lining fabric 120 x 40 cm wide (not sold on our site, to be found in haberdashery)
- 1 spool of n°30 polyester thread (diameter 0.41 mm)
- 1 round punch Ø 3 mm
- Double-sided tape width 4 mm or 6 mm
- Tear-resistant tape width 15 mm
- 1 leather glue
- 1 cutter or 1 pair of scissors
- 1 skiving knife or a skiving blade

Final fanny pack dimensions:

Level: Intermediate. This DIY kit is for people who already have some sewing experience and know how to skive leather.

This bag is sewn with a sewing machine. It is possible to sew it with a household sewing machine with a walking foot, equipped with a special leather needle and a Teflon foot. Do not hesitate to consult our guide on sewing leather by machine.

SUEDE LEATHER CARE TIPS

To maintain the velvety appearance of your suede leather, we recommend using a crepe brush or a special suede cleaner. It is also advisable to protect your bag beforehand by using a waterproofing agent suitable for leather. Feel free to consult our care products suitable for suede leather.
