CHINESE-MADE THREAD SPOOL - GLAZED BRAIDED THREAD

Glazed braided linen thread is a high-quality, very strong thread. It is a natural thread that allows for the creation of traditional and authentic products while offering unparalleled aesthetic appeal and very high strength.

Braided thread is a twisted yarn that is assembled a second time with several strands and then twisted "wet". This moistening ensures that the linen fibers are not altered. Braiding increases resistance and results in a very round thread, generally used for luxury leather goods.
This linen thread is glazed, meaning it is passed through a starch bath to which beeswax has been added. It then undergoes horsehair brushing and stretching. These operations produce a smooth, strong thread that has rigidity, good glide for easy sewing, and excellent hold.
