BOBBIN OF LINEN THREAD - GLACED CABLED LINEN THREAD

Glaced cabled linen thread is a high-quality, very strong thread. It is a natural thread that allows for the creation of traditional and authentic products while offering unparalleled aesthetic appeal and very high durability.

Cabled thread is a ply that is assembled a second time with several strands and then twisted "wet". This moistening ensures that the linen fibers are not damaged. Cabling increases resistance and produces a very round thread, generally used for luxury leather goods.
This linen thread is glaced, meaning it is passed through a starch bath to which beeswax has been added. It then undergoes horsehair brushing and stretching. These operations result in a smooth and resistant thread that has rigidity, good glide for easier sewing, and hold.

Thread diameter: 0.57 mm - 532
50-gram bobbin, or 250 meters of thread
