CHINESE-STYLE SPOOL OF LINEN THREAD - GLAZED BRAIDED THREAD

Glazed braided linen thread is a high-end, very strong thread. It is a natural thread that allows for the creation of traditional and authentic products while offering incomparable aesthetic appeal and great durability.

Braided thread is a twisted yarn that is assembled a second time with several ends and then twisted "wet". This humidification ensures that the linen fibers are not damaged. Braiding increases resistance and results in a very round thread, generally used for luxury leather goods.
This linen thread is glazed, which means it has been passed through a starch bath to which beeswax has been added. It then underwent horsehair brushing and stretching. These operations produce a smooth, resistant thread that has rigidity, good glide for easy sewing, and shape retention.
