Description

SAPPHIRE LEATHER DYE - DEEP BLACK

French Sapphire Dye is an extremely penetrating alcohol-based dye. It is designed to tint a light color to a darker color.

It can be used on smooth leathers as well as suede, nubuck, or nubuck. Specially formulated for leathers with minimal porosity, Dye Française penetrates even low-absorbent surfaces, where other dyes remain on the surface. It is the shoemaker's go-to dye.

All the colors in the range are mixable , allowing you to create your own shades. If you are mixing, make sure you prepare enough for the entire surface you want to tint.
The color chart is for guidance only. The resulting color depends on the original shade and the type of leather.
A preliminary test on a discreet area of the leather is recommended to validate the shade.

Instructions for use :
- For best results on smooth leathers, it is recommended to use Saphir stripper (ref. WA337 ) to open the pores of the leather.
- Protect your hands with gloves, then apply the French Dye with the applicator pad. We recommend applying two thin coats to obtain a uniform and even color.
- Allow to dry for 2 hours between each coat.
- To guarantee optimal results after applying the dye, it is recommended to use a specific finishing product:
For your suede and nubuck leathers, use Saphir Renovétine spray (ref. WA325 ).
For your smooth leathers, in good condition, apply a Surfine cream (ref. WA323 ) or a Canadian cream for thick leather (ref. WA327 ).
For your smooth, worn leathers, apply Juvacuir Saphir (ref. WA069 ).
For your smooth, very worn leathers, apply the Renovating Cream (ref. WA305 ).
