SAPHIR LEATHER DYE - DEEP BLACK

Saphir Teinture Française is an extremely penetrating alcohol-based dye. It is designed to dye a light color into a darker one.

The deep black shade is specially formulated to achieve an unparalleled depth of black. Highly pigmented, this dye ensures an intense black in a single application, regardless of the initial color of the leather, and guarantees uniform coverage without streaks.

It can be used on smooth leathers as well as suede, nubuck, or velvet leathers. Specially formulated for low-porosity leathers, Teinture Française penetrates even surfaces with low absorption, where other dyes remain on the surface. It is the go-to dye for professional cobblers.

All colors in the range are miscible with each other, allowing you to create your own custom shades. If you create a mixture, make sure to prepare enough for the entire surface to be dyed.
To lighten a shade, you can use the lightening base (ref. WA326_00).
The color chart is provided for indicative purposes only. The result obtained depends on the original shade and the nature of the leather.
A preliminary test on an inconspicuous area of the leather is recommended to verify the shade.

Usage tips :
- For best results on smooth leathers, it is recommended to use Saphir leather preparer (ref. WA337) to open the pores of the leather.
- Protect your hands with gloves, then apply the Teinture Française with the applicator pad. 
- Let dry for at least 2 hours (the deep black shade has a higher concentration of pigments, which results in slightly reduced penetration and a longer drying time than other shades in the range).
- To ensure optimal results after applying the dye, it is recommended to use a specific finishing product:
For your suede and nubuck leathers, use Saphir Renovétine spray (ref. WA325).
For your smooth leathers in good condition, apply Surfine cream for shoes (ref. WA323) or Canadian cream for leather goods or jackets (ref. WA327).
For your worn smooth leathers, apply Saphir Juvacuir (ref. WA069).
For your very worn smooth leathers, apply Renovating Cream (ref. WA305).

Volume : 50 ml (enough to dye one pair of shoes).

Each box contains a 50ml bottle of dye, a pair of plastic gloves, and an applicator pad.

Caution: dyeing suede or nubuck leather is intended for experienced users.
