Description

ANGELUS LEATHER PAINT - LILAC

Angelus leather paint is the go-to for all "customizers" of products such as basketball shoes or sneakers. This paint can also be used on leather goods, belts, wallets, saddlery, upholstery, or automotive items.
You can create an original design or add small touches of vibrant color that are difficult to achieve with classic dyes.
These paints are also used to recolor leather if the original color has worn off.

High-quality acrylic paint, standard range.
Highly pigmented for extended durability.
Flexible and resistant paint.
Crack-resistant.
Colors can be mixed together.
Depending on the batch, the cap may have an applicator brush. There is no protective seal.

Info Deco Cuir:
Angelus paints are quality paints with a high pigment content. It is important to homogenize the paint by shaking the bottle vigorously before use. Some colors are difficult to mix and small lumps may appear during application. Just smooth them out with the brush to make them disappear. This is normal and does not constitute a quality defect.

Recommendations for use on shoes:
- It is very important to prepare your shoe before applying the paint to get an optimal result. Clean it thoroughly, even if it is new. You can use Angelus preparatory cleaner and deglazer (ref. WA056).
Do not use the preparer on surfaces other than leather (plastic soles, rubber edges...)
In the case of very smooth leather such as patent leather, you can very lightly sand the surface with very fine sandpaper to ensure the paint adheres well.
- When painting, be sure to apply very thin coats to prevent cracking during drying. The paint is applied with a brush. Allow the Angelus paint to dry thoroughly between coats. Never dry the paint with a hairdryer, as it may crack.
- If you want to lighten a color, you can use neutral paint (ref. WZ720_004).
- Fix and protect your paint with a standard acrylic finish or a reinforced 4-coat finish. We recommend applying 2 or 3 coats. This will greatly reduce wear and scratches on your leather.

Brushes can be cleaned with soapy water or a brush cleaner (Ref. WA075).
It is possible to use the paint on another material by mixing it with a special additive: fabric (2-soft), plastic (2-hard).
