Black vegetable tanned nourished collar strap of very good quality. These strips are cut from 1st choice collars. Ideal for making bags or satchels, decorative belts, decoration...
This leather, called "nourished", has been made with more fat than classic leather, which allows it to be more supple while remaining robust. It has a very pleasant “candle touch”.
Through tanning, "old-fashioned" finishing which has the particularity of bringing out the characteristics specific to the leather (graining, neck wrinkles and defects specific to the life of the animal such as small scars, insect bites. ..) but these imperfections (in very small numbers) quickly give way to the authenticity of the leather. Over time, this leather will acquire a patina and become even more beautiful.
