DIY - SÉVERINE BROWN LEATHER BAG KIT
Discover our DIY kit to create the Séverine handbag, a chic, modern and 100% handmade model.
Carried by hand or over the shoulder, this medium-sized bag is ideal for perfecting your leatherworking skills and creating a unique piece.
Leather type: Chocolate brown suede calfskin split leather, supple and approximately 1.4 mm thick.
Kit contents:
- 1 piece of split calfskin suede leather (surface area suitable for the project)
- 1 Salpa synderm reinforcement plate - 70 x 150 cm - 0.4 mm thick
- 40 cm of Sugherite reinforcement for handle (25 mm wide)
- 1 chocolate-colored, nickel-plated metal or nylon zipper (4 mm wide, 20 cm long)
- 1 kit of 24 nickel-plated roller eyelets and installation tools (Ø 8 mm)
- 2 round nickel-plated carabiners (Ø 25 mm)
- 1 swivel nickel-plated carabiner (10 mm wide)
- 1 nickel-plated half-round ring (10 mm wide)
- 2 nickel-plated Chicago screws (Ø 9 mm)
- 1 spool of 28/2 beige polyester cotton thread (Ø 0.38 mm)
- 1 double-sided adhesive tape
- 1 round nickel-plated magnetic TOP clasp (Ø 19 mm)

- Fabric lining - 55 x 75 cm ( not for sale on our website, available in haberdasheries)

This bag is sewn using a sewing machine. It can be sewn with a standard domestic sewing machine equipped with a walking foot, a leather needle, and a Teflon foot. Feel free to consult our guide on machine sewing leather.
