Tawny leather eyeglass case

With this DIY kit, create your own tan leather glasses case and always keep your glasses close at hand. An accessory that's as stylish as it is functional for storing and protecting your sunglasses or eyeglasses.
Full-size pattern and paper tutorial included.

The case closes with powerful magnets and an internal tab helps to keep your glasses securely in the case.

Beginner level
Designed to be accessible to beginners and leatherworking enthusiasts, this leather glasses case can be sewn by hand (hole stitching) or by sewing machine.

List of kit components:
- 1 full-size pattern
- 1 tutorial with step-by-step explanations and QR Codes giving access to the assembly video, the guide on simplified leather sewing and the guide on machine sewing leather .
- 1 piece of SWEET 2 Tan cowhide leather - 20 x 30 cm - 1 mm thick
- 1 piece of Salpa synderm reinforcement - 20 x 30 cm - Thickness 0.6 mm
- 1 piece of VELVET Natural suede pigskin split leather - 20 x 30 cm - Thickness 0.8 mm (for lining)
- 4 round neodymium magnets, Ø 20 mm - Thickness 2 mm

Tools required (not provided):
- 1 cutter and a ruler
- Leather contact adhesive
- Strong cyanoacrylate glue for magnets
- 1 leather pressing roller
- No. 40 polyester thread, leather needles and a Teflon foot (if machine sewing) OR M50 linen thread, size 002 round-tipped needles and a 1 mm diameter round punch (if hand sewing)
- Slice finishing (optional)
