BLACK LEATHER GLASSES CASE

With this DIY kit, make your own black leather glasses case and keep your glasses within reach at all times. An accessory as aesthetic as it is functional for storing and protecting your sunglasses or prescription glasses.
Full-size pattern and paper tutorial included.

The case closes using powerful magnets and an inner tab keeps your glasses securely in the case.

Beginner level
Designed to be accessible to beginners and leatherwork enthusiasts, this leather glasses case can be hand-stitched (pre-punched holes) or sewn by sewing machine.

Kit contents:
- 1 full-size pattern
- 1 tutorial with step-by-step instructions and QR codes providing access to the assembly video, the guide on simplified leather stitching and the guide on machine leather stitching.
- 1 piece of cowhide leather Sweet 2 Black ST060 - 20 x 30 cm - Thickness 1 mm
- 1 piece of Salpa bonded leather reinforcement - 20 x 30 cm - Thickness 0.6 mm
- 1 piece of suede pigskin split leather VELVET Black DBP03 - 20 x 30 cm - Thickness 0.8 mm (for lining)
- 4 round neodymium magnets Ø 20 mm - Thickness 2 mm

Tools required (not included):
- 1 utility knife and a stainless steel ruler
- Leather contact glue
- Super glue cyanoacrylate for the magnets
- 1 leather roller
- No. 40 polyester thread, leather needles, and a Teflon foot (if machine sewing) OR M50 linen thread, blunt-tip needles size 002 and a round Ø 1 mm hole punch (if hand sewing)
- Edge finish (optional)
