Description

LEATHER EDGE DYE - MAHOGANY BROWN

Give your creations a professional look with a perfect edge finish.
You can work the edges in the same color as your leather, or highlight them by playing with colors.

This range of 24 colors can dye edges on all types of leather (vegetable or mineral tanning). It can also be used on synthetic materials. Prior testing is necessary.
This leather edge finish is flexible, and resists friction and temperature variations.

This finish is applied with manual tools (fillet iron, applicator pen, brush, spatula...). It dries quickly and provides good coverage. It gives a smooth and domed effect.
You can mix colors to obtain your own shade.
The color chart is for illustrative purposes only. A preliminary test on a leather scrap is recommended to validate the shade.

Capacity : 30 ml (glass jar)

Shade : Mahogany Brown / Bordeaux 51 (shade closer to mahogany brown than classic bordeaux).
The color chart is for illustrative purposes only. A preliminary test on a leather scrap is recommended to validate the shade.

This product is also called "edge paint"; "edge dye" or "edge wax".
It has a water base, which is safe for humans and the environment.

Information : over time, the edge finish may become pasty (water evaporation), do not hesitate to dilute it with distilled water (to avoid bacterial growth) to restore the original consistency.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE :
- Prepare the edges with light sanding (500 to 1000 grit)
- Shake well before use
- Apply the dye to the leather edge
- Let dry for 10 to 15 minutes
- A second or even a third coat can be applied depending on the desired effect (domed effect)
- In case of smudging, remove the dye with a crepe rubber
- Clean tools with water
