The salmon leather from the Squama range comes from the French tannery Ictyos, specialized in marine leather. It is an exceptional leather, thin, supple, with natural scales and a perfectly symmetrical tight grain. This fish leather is highly resistant to friction, water, and UV rays. Its unique properties, unequaled by terrestrial leather, make it easy to work with and yield a visually very satisfying result. This rare leather is highly sought after for ornamentation, leather goods, sheathing, watchmaking, and jewelry.

The glossy collection of the Squama range has been developed to obtain a luminous, perfectly smooth leather with a homogeneous color and increased resistance. The entire surface is plated to set the scales and protect them from friction.

Available in two selections:
- Choice 1: Leather with very few imperfections.
- Choice 2: Leather with small defects or inconsistencies (holes, variations in shade, grain, dimensions, relief….)

Available in two sizes:
- Medium: Total length is between 30 and 44 cm, width is between 7 and 10 cm for the widest part, and a minimum of 4 cm for the thinnest end.
- Large: Total length is between 44 and 70 cm, width is between 10 and 20 cm for the widest part, and a minimum of 4 cm for the thinnest end.

LIMITED STOCK:
This salmon leather comes from an end-of-series batch. It has received the same treatments, finishes, and quality controls as our regular range. The only difference: it will not be restocked once the available quantity is sold out.

MAINTENANCE OF SALMON LEATHER:
Apply a waterproofing agent suitable for this leather.
Hot stamping is not recommended on this type of leather.
