The salmon leather from the Squama range comes from the French tannery Ictyos, specialized in marine leather. It is an exceptional leather, thin, supple, with natural scales, and a perfectly symmetrical tight grain. This fish leather is very resistant to friction, water, and UV rays. Its unique and unparalleled properties compared to terrestrial leather make it an easy material to work with and give a very visually satisfying result. This rare leather is highly favored for ornamentation, leather goods, sheathing, watchmaking, and jewelry.

The shiny collection of the Squama range was developed to obtain a luminous, perfectly smooth leather with a homogeneous shade and increased resistance. The entire surface is plated to fix the scales and protect them from friction.

Available in two selections :
- Choice 1: Leather with very few imperfections.
- Choice 2: Leather with small defects or inconsistencies (holes, variations in shade, grain, dimensions, relief, etc.).

Available in two sizes :
- Medium: Total length is between 30 and 44 cm, width between 7 and 10 cm for the widest part and a minimum of 4 cm for the thinnest end.
- Large: Total length is between 44 and 70 cm, width between 10 and 20 cm for the widest part and a minimum of 4 cm for the thinnest end.

This salmon leather comes from an end-of-series batch. It has received the same treatments, finishes, and quality controls as our ongoing range. The only difference: it will not be restocked once the available quantity is sold out.

SALMON LEATHER CARE:
Apply a waterproofing agent suitable for this leather.
Hot stamping is not recommended on this type of leather.
