OLD ROSE RECOLOURANT FOR DAMAGED SMOOTH LEATHER
Thanks to its resin-based pigments, Saphir's renovating cream has a strong covering power that allows it to recolour leather in cases of scratches, discolouration, or wear. Its use reduces imperfections related to the lack of dye on your leather items.
Designed for small damaged areas, it is perfectly suited for shoes, clothing, leather goods, and furniture made of smooth leather. This recolourant is not intended for use on large surfaces or for general leather maintenance.
Colours can be mixed to create new shades.
To lighten a shade, you can use the lightening base.
The colour chart is provided as a guide. A preliminary test on a piece of scrap leather is recommended to validate the shade.
The colour is resistant to rubbing and water.
Use :
- Dust the leather with a brush and clean it if necessary with Saphir's cleaning milk or Saphir's Réno'mat if the leather is very dirty.
- Apply a small amount of renovating cream to the damaged surface. Application is easy with a cotton pad, foam applicator, or with your fingers (then wash your hands with soap and water).
- Let dry for 10 minutes.
- Reapply if necessary to achieve the desired coverage.
- For a more fluid texture, you can mix the renovating cream with a little Saphir universal cream, this helps to facilitate spreading over a large surface and obtain a lighter pigmentation.
