REQUIRED MATERIALS
- 1 piece of cowhide leather - size 30 x 40 cm / approx. 1.4 mm thick.
- 2 Chicago screws Ø9 mm.
- A pair of scissors and a utility knife.
- 1 round punch Ø3 mm.
- 1 jar of Tokonole.

1. CUT THE PATTERN
Download the pattern and print it to actual size. Cut out the paper pattern and transfer it, using a silver pencil, onto the leather piece (grain side).

2. CUT THE PIECES
Cut out the pattern pieces using a utility knife or scissors.

3. CREATE THE SLITS
Score the slits with a utility knife.

4. PUNCH THE LEATHER
Punch the Ø 3 mm holes with a punch or a revolving punch.

5. FORM THE STRUCTURE
Assemble the basket: start with one side, fold the middle tab, then the one with a straight line, and finish with the rounded one (see numbers on the pattern).

6. ATTACH THE STRAP
Insert the strap (piece P2) into the three slits (top and bottom) of the assembled side.

7. ASSEMBLE WITH A CHICAGO SCREW
Screw in a Chicago screw to hold the three layers and the strap.

8. REPEAT THE OPERATION ON THE OTHER SIDE
Repeat steps 6 to 8 for the other side.
