Materials needed:
- 1 semi-soft, semi-firm cowhide leather hide - 0.70 to 0.79 m² - 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick
- 1 vegetable-tanned full-grain leather strap - 2.5 mm thick - 25 mm wide - 120 cm long
- 8 medium DOUBLE CAP rivets in brass (T3)
- A utility knife
- Polyester thread #30
- A 3 mm diameter round punch
1. Transfer the pattern
Download and print the pattern to actual size. Cut out the paper pattern and transfer it onto the leather hide using a silver pencil.

2. Prepare the pieces
Cut out the pattern pieces using a utility knife or a pair of scissors. Mark the centers of the pieces (indicated on the pattern) with a notch.

3. Glue the pocket
Using double-sided tape, glue piece P3 (pocket) onto P1, in the location indicated on the pattern.

4. Punch the holes
Punch the holes on piece P1. For oblong holes, make two holes with the Ø 3 mm round punch, then connect the two holes with a utility knife.

5. Apply double-sided tape
Apply double-sided tape along the lengths of piece P1 (on the wrong side).

6. Sew the pocket
Sew pocket P3 onto P1.

7. Assemble the pieces
Using double-sided tape, glue pieces P2 onto P1, edge to edge, wrong side to wrong side. Start from the centers to ensure alignment. Hold everything in place with sewing clips.

8. Sew the pieces
Sew pieces P1 and P2 edge to edge.

9. Prepare the straps
Cut the full-grain strap in half to make two handles.

10. Attach the rivets
Fasten the handles in the oblong holes with rivets.
