The necessary equipment:
- 1 piece of semi-soft, semi-firm cowhide leather - 0.70 to 0.79 m² - 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick
- 1 vegetable-tanned leather strap - Thickness 2.5 mm - Width 25 mm - Length 120 cm
- 8 medium double-cap brass rivets (T3)
- A cutter
- No. 30 polyester thread
- A round cookie cutter with a diameter of 3 mm
1. Report the pattern
Download the pattern and print it at full size. Cut out the paper pattern and transfer it, using a silver pencil, onto the leather.

2. Prepare the parts
Cut out the pattern pieces using a cutter or scissors. Mark the centers of the pieces (indicated on the pattern) with a notch.

3. Glue the pocket
Using double-sided tape, stick piece P3 (pocket) onto P1, in the location indicated on the pattern.

4. Drill the holes
Drill the holes on part P1. For oblong holes, make two holes with the Ø 3 mm round punch, then connect the two holes with a cutter.

5. Apply the double-sided tape
Apply double-sided tape to the lengths of piece P1 (on the reverse side).

6. Sew the pocket
Sew pocket P3 onto P1.

7. Assemble the parts
Using double-sided tape, glue pieces P2 to P1, edge to edge, wrong sides together. Start from the middle to ensure a perfect fit. Secure everything with sewing clips.

8. Sew the pieces
Sew pieces P1 and P2 edge to edge.

9. Prepare the strips
Cut the collar strap in half to make two handles.

10. Install the rivets
Secure the handles in the oblong holes with rivets.
