VERSION 1: CLASSIC
MATERIALS NEEDED
- 1 20 x 30 cm piece of leather - Semi-soft, semi-firm - 1.1 mm thick

Video
1. Cut the pattern
Download and print the pattern at actual size. Cut out and tape the pattern to the leather using masking tape to avoid damaging the leather's grain.
You can customize one of the lengths of piece P2 with shapes of your choice (fringes, waves, petals...).

Cut the different pattern pieces with a cutter. Mark the reference points on the suede side of the leather (back), as indicated on the pattern, using a silver pen. These marks will be used for the final seam.

2. Sew the top piece
Fold pieces P2 in half and mark the crease with a hammer.

Attach double-sided tape to both lengths of pieces P2.

Position and glue pieces P2 onto the top of pieces P1. Piece P2 should overlap the edge of P1.

Sew 3 mm from the edge using a sewing machine.

3. Assemble the body of the coin purse
Assemble the two P1 pieces right sides together, edge to edge, using sewing clips.

Sew all around with a sewing machine.

Trim by cutting the bottom corners.

4. Open the seams
Open all seams with contact adhesive. Flatten the glued areas with a hammer.
