RIVET SETTING DIE
No more worries about setting eyelets, rivets, or snap fasteners in the center of a leather piece.We offer a kit including:
- a small ERTALON plate, with a hole in its center to insert one part of the setting dies for the blue hand press.
- a stainless steel striking handle onto which the other part of the setting dies for the blue hand press is screwed.
Instructions for use:
Place the base part of the setting die into the hole in the plate, screw the upper part of the setting die into the setting handle.
Punch a hole in the leather to place your accessory. To crimp the accessory, place it on the setting die and strike the handle with a mallet.
The 85 Shore nylon support has very high mechanical resistance. This very rigid and non-damping material allows the setting die to transfer all its energy into the setting of the accessory on the leather when struck with a mallet.
The cutting block should be used on a stable surface for best results.
