STRIKING TOOL FOR SETTING RIVETS
This tool allows you to install rivets with a maximum diameter of 4.1 mm and a length of up to 25 mm.
It therefore allows you to install T28, T35 and T41 rivets (on sale on our site).
Installation instructions :
Make a hole in your parts to be assembled (3mm for T28 and T35 rivets, or 4mm for T41 rivets). Pass the rivet through the inside of your parts. Insert the washer, then tighten it using the installation tool. Cut off the excess with pliers, leaving approximately 2 mm of material. Start matting using the concave part of the setting tool. Complete the assembly by hammering the rod onto the washer with a hammer. The matting operation must be carried out on a firm work surface; you can put a plate of Ertalon to protect your work surface and the head of the rivet.
