This tool is used in leather goods or bookbinding to thin the leather.
Tool designed for right-handers.
This economical paring blade in hardened steel leaves the manufacturing workshop. It is raw foundry!
The blade needs degreasing as there is oil residue from manufacturing. The edges of the handle are sharp: we advise you to break the edges by sanding them or to wrap the handle with a leather strap before using it.

Delivered pre-sharpened, it is necessary to sharpen the edge of the blade for an optimal and precise cut using a strop and sharpening paste. (See video tab)
